VicRoads Roadworthy Inspections

Barooga Service Centre in Barooga is a VicRoads licensed roadworthy inspection station and can issue roadworthy certificates for vehicles that pass the roadworthy assessment test.

A roadworthy inspection includes checking:

  • Tyres
  • Brakes
  • Suspension
  • Steering
  • Body damage or rust
  • Lights
  • Windscreen

A Certificate of Roadworthiness can only be issued when a licensed vehicle tester, operating from a nominated garage or service station, believes the vehicle is roadworthy. A certificate can only be issued when a vehicle passes the inspection.

A roadworthy inspection is not a comprehensive full vehicle inspection. Talk to us today about the different types of inspections available at Barooga Service Centre and which one will best suit your needs.
